Love IS universal ; Love me tender love me sweet; Broken hearted girl
As an exchange student here in APU you are going to meet a lot of different people with different beliefs and experience. One of those beliefs is love. I´m not talking about love itself, no I´m talking about “love” as a concept, the idea what love is and not the actual feeling. APU is one of the world´s most multicultural universities with students from around 90 different countries. There is a big possibility that you are going to meet people that think and do things different from you. Sometimes you can understand why they do the things they do and other times you just don´t get it, but you have to respect it! And the idea of love can differ. In the student handbook 2009 they gave the exchange students in the beginning there is a chapter about: Male and Female Relationships.
Personality of the Month: DO SY Huy
DO SY Huy has started a scholarship program called Học bổng Huynh Đệ 25/8” (Sempai-Kohai Scholarship) in AY200 9 back in his country, Vietnam. This scholarship is awarded to the high school students in grade 12. In AY 2008, two students were awarded with this scholarship while in AY 2009, it was dramatically increased to 13. By saving whatever he could from his Honors Scholarship, Do SY Huy is co-funding this annual scholarship. The aim of this scholarship is to encourage high school students to make plans for their future based on two pillars of Ethics and Wisdom so that they will be able to achieve higher goals in their lives.
SA at Your Service.
In APU students can experience different academic and professional environment. As it has a multicultural setting, there are students coming from different cultural backgrounds thus creating the higher possibility of innovative ideas and concepts to come out. APU helps its students by preparing them to standout as dynamic figures in not only the Asia Pacific region but in the whole world. Among many, System Assistant (from here SA) is one of the opportunities that APU provides to the students. So, who are the SAs? Let’s know them.
