Ruin your holiday…Come join me.
Japanese(JP)English (United Kingdom)
11When my Japanese teacher started asking me and my class mates what we did during the break, my friends started answering this and that in their own way. Most of them had common answers like travelled, studied, watched movies, etc. When my turn to answer the question came, I started thinking what I really did during the break. It was really embarrassing that I couldn’t figure out an appropriate answer.

On the last day before the break, I hurriedly left the class room without listening the teacher’s instructional words about home works. I was really excited that I was going to have a wonderful time, far from that busy life of studies. Within the first 2 days, I had a great time. I joined the gathering of my country mates, went to a cinema hall, and watched a movie. From the third day I realized I had nothing to do other than sleep and drink. Studying was not even close to my list of interests.  Every time I thought about studying I would suddenly remember the word “Tomorrow”. With lots of tomorrows on my break I even didn’t start doing my assignments. I started sleeping for the whole day and woke up sometimes during the night .Drinking habit became more than a habit. Then when the break ended, I was in a hurry to complete all those works that I was supposed to do during the breaks. When I had a look on my assignments, I could figure nothing. The alphabets written there looked like some other unusual language. Then I realized I should have listened to the teacher’s advice on the last day.

In the end I came up with the answer on what I actually did during the holiday. The first thing was that I spoilt my studies. I ended up with half done homework and unfamiliar sleeping habits. My money was all gone in along with the drinks during the break. But now I can say that I learnt an important lesson during the break.
