IMAT students were running around APU campus and the city counting light bulbs and looking in garbage bins over the last week as part of their data mining process to understand the system. They are students of the Master Programs in International Material Flow Management (IMAT).
The program features multidisciplinary study courses aiming at educating professionals in "green business opportunities". The program develops system efficiency strategies through a combination of engineering, economics and environmental sciences.
These student are working to receive a comprehensive dual degree from two of the leading universities in the respective fields in Japan and Germany:
Master of Science in International Cooperation Policy of Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific
University (APU), Japan, and
Master of Engineer ing in International Material Flow Management of Trier University of
Applied Sciences, Germany.
