2009 Main Activities
From 2009 Fall Semester, we decided to change into International Bureau OASIS as a step closer to our vision of establishing Student Council. As a student organization mainly supporting International Students, we focused on the 3 following events this semester.
ü June 2009: APU Amazing Race where students interacted through games and quizzes about APU
ü September 2009: Idea Exchange with APU offices where we reported them the summary of students` opinion on circles, local exchanges and APU offices` policies from the 2nd International Conference in January 2009. There we also suggested the ways for improvement.
ü October 2009: Mini Pavilion so-called “Feel the WORLD from APU” for APU 10th Anniversary at Tenkusai.
Besides those we also supported the exchange party between APU international Students and working people in Beppu. Moreover, in order to introduce our activities to APU students, we have been publishing an information magazine so-called OASISmile
