また新たにスタートした春セメスター。母国、故郷に帰省した学生。別府に留まりアルバイト、勉強、趣味に集中した学生。そんなAPU生誰しもが久しぶりにAPUに来て気づくのが新たな顔ぶれであろう。そう、また今セメスターも多くの交換留学生がAPUに訪れている。その数は交換留学生７１人と私費留学生１４人あわせて８５人におよび１７カ国５０協定大学から来た多種多様な学生である。そんな学生とすでに友達になった方も多いのではないだろうか。

２・３月の長期休暇のあいだ帰省していた学生は、バス停の前に新たに設置された、「APUガーデン」を見て驚いたことだろう。この「APUガーデン」とは別に、「藤棚とベンチ」も、大学構内に４か所、設置された。（カフェテリア横、F棟前、ライブラリー横、BⅡ棟横）しかし、藤のツルをはわせて覆っているはずの藤棚の屋根は、どこにも見当たらない。藤棚を見上げ、困惑している学生もしばしば見られる。

「生徒自治組織を作ろう。」そのための会議が2月3日に開催された。主催は「student voice」

で参加団体は「OASIS」、「SOSC」、「公認団体会議」そしてオフィスから二名が招かれた。
